I started this blog because I have so many clarinet teaching related thoughts and no where to put them. Well, that's not true. My husband is also a clarinetist and teacher, so we talk A LOT of clarinet. But many times I forget everything (thank you, ADHD) and then find myself in the middle of a lesson trying to remember that brilliant idea I had an hour ago.

Since I'm not the only clarinet teacher in the world, and since teachers are always looking for new ways to teach old topics, I figured that it could be helpful to share this info online.

For what it's worth - I use the em dash a lot. I didn't even know the symbol had a name until people started calling it out in AI slop. This is my disclaimer: You can trust that what you read is Me and not AI 🙂
